CUSTOMER SERVICE/FRONT OFFICE
Portuguese for Customer Service/Front Office
This program provides customer service, inside sales and front office professionals with basic Portuguese language skills to communicate effectively with Portuguese-speaking customers and prospects. The program focuses on important phrases, questions and requests that relate to daily customer interactions.

Upon program completion, participants will be able to use Portuguese to greet prospects and customers, make introductions, obtain basic information and identification, give directions, manage routing office procedures, make appointments and handle phone calls.

HEALTHCARE
Portuguese for Healthcare Professionals
This program provides B.S.N.s, R.N.s., L.V.N.s/L.P.N.s, C.N.A.s , Physicians, Laboratory and X-Ray technicians with basic Portuguese language skills to effectively interact with Portuguese-speaking patients. The program focuses on routine phrases, questions and requests to facilitate the provision of medical care and attention to Portuguese-speaking patients.

Upon program completion, participants will be able to use Portuguese to meet and greet patients, make introductions, utilize healthcare commands/requests to perform physical assessment and routine procedures, recognize family members and identify parts of the body.

POLICE
Portuguese for Law Enforcement Officers
This program is intended for municipal police officers, sheriff’s deputies, state police officers, federal agents, campus police officers, private security guards, investigators and criminal justice students providing them with functional language skills in Portuguese. The program focuses on routine phrases, questions and commands that are critical for police work.

Upon program completion, participants will be able to use Portuguese to greet the public, make introductions, stop and search a suspect, make an arrest, conduct a vehicle stop and manage detainees and bystanders.
